Every year, Spoken Soul Festival’s production team Poetic 7 hand pick talented women spoken word artists, fine artists, photographers, designers and film makers to be a part of this important festival.

Mia Roman—Fine Artist

Brooklyn born Latina painter, poet and mixed media artist, Mia is the talent behind this year’s official Spoken Soul Festival’s Goddess poster. She experiments with various mixed mediums, making her paintings an expression of heart and personal truth.

Terese “Chunky” Hill—Poet

In 2009 “Chunky” was one of the persons responsible for organizing the 2009 National Poetry Slam held in West Palm Beach Florida. She also formed a team for the competition which placed in top 10 of the Team competition.

Adelle Carlton—Designer

Somy Ali —Filmmaker

Molly Bo—Fine Artist

I paint to remember. I use my paintings to revisit places in my memory. Memories are fluid; a glimpse is all I can ever hope to catch. My abstract process captures the fleeting colors, textures and shapes necessary to locate some sense of place.

Rachel “Flow Diva” Finley—Poet

Rachel Finley, a proud south Florida native, has been writing poetry since she was 6 years old. After earning her BFA in Drama - Directing from Carnegie Mellon University, Rachel went on to work on independent films, television and live stage productions.
